Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (30ml), a light-as-air formula that delivers long-lasting, luminous wear.

Its weightless formula is breathable, blendable *and* buildable to offer medium-to-full coverage that's ideally suited to normal, combination or oily skin types. As if that wasn't enough, it resists oxidisation to leave you with a complexion that stays true to colour all day long. Plus, there are plenty of shades to choose from, so finding the most flattering hue for your skin tone couldn't be simpler. The final flourish? It's infused with a smoothie of raspberry, apple and watermelon extracts to support a smoother-looking complexion and leave you looking naturally radiant.

Good Semi Matte Foundation
I used Nars Longwear in Syracuse as my daily foundation when I was tanned but needed a lighter colour for Winter. My face is darker then my neck & I really wanted a uniformed look. I am Indian, use MUFE 128/Almond with neutral undertone but wanted a more matte cover as I have pigmentation & dark circles. I bought shade Aruba after watching you tube & Instagram MUA’s but it was too orange & I became frustrated with trying to mix other foundations with it. I finally got colour matched at a store & bought shade Barcelona. It’s a lovely consistency, natural looking, not ashy, does not oxidise & stays put all day. If it is ashy, it’s the wrong shade! It does cover slight skin marks but not dark circles completely. I really wish online beauty websites provided samples, the beauty brands do provide them. £100+ spent finding a match but covered for any tanning shade, if it is ever sunny in London!

Really bad.
I really wanted to love this foundation and I tried different ways to use it, I even applied primer. It applies really well and your skin looks amazing in the beginning, but then my skin looked so bad and caked. Plus it made me break out terribly and I never had any pimples after my teenage years. I am 27 now. So please ladies get a tester first and then buy the foundation. It's money wasted.

Finally a good foundation!
I have tried a ton of foundations and have finally settled on this one. It is easy to apply, without streaking, giving a covered and semi-matte look. My skin looks plump and even. A couple small pumps covers my whole face for a full coverage look. I feel like you get a lot of product for the value, especially when compared with other products of a similar value-range. Obsessed!

Surprised
This was definitely better than I had expected. Personally I have dry skin and this foundation really left a natural coat that, which isn't cake-y. Definitely recommend if your looking for something new but i feel as if there are better foundations out there.

Nice foundation
Really like this foundation gives a nice full coverage with a semi matte finish. Not really a dewy glow. Have to use a fair amount of product to cover the whole face though. Lasts most of the day and I like how it looks.

Have a love hate relationship with this foundation, looks super flawless on and it's good coverage. The only downfall is it transfers a lot, would still recommend though.

Love this !!
I love this foundation, it's very dewy and my skin looks perfect all day the colour Stromboli matches my tan perfectly which is what I wanted it for. Only issue is I have to use quite a few pumps to cover my face but I do like a full look.
