The shimmer shade is absolutely gorgeous! The mattes are alright, though the darkest purple is a bit patchy. You will end up with a very barbie pink look every time, so the palette is not as versatile as the previous eye and face palettes.

I know people don't like it much, but it's perfect on me
I'm wildly pale, cool toned and dark haired and this makes me look like Snow White. Amazing blush and highlighter on me! But if you're any darker than NW12, this will look way to chalky on you, sadly. So truly not a very versatile palette alas.

I read about this tendency in ND products to come in broken condition, and now I understand, it relates to the texture of eyeshadows. It is so soft and fluffy, so it can be more easily damaged at time of transportation,but I can't describe how I am satisfied with this palette. Fluffy, juicy, so easy to blend, it is simply wow!! The matte shadows are pigmented yet easy to blend, the sparkly shadow is sooooo pretty. The highlighter is smooth and beautiful, and not very greasy for being a cream, it's almost like a powder. The blush is beautiful applied in a thin layer, but i am pale so I don't know how it would look on anyone with darker skin. Absolutely love the palette, it's compact and sturdy, and has a big mirror, also all pans are magnetic so it's a perfect one for travel for me. The color story is also surprisingly versatile, yes, it's a lot of pink, but I could do a neutral sparkly look with it, a Barbie pink one or a dramatic smoky one - for being just 5 shades it's quite good.
