Highly saturated yet impressively lightweight, this emollient solution incorporates modern advances in biotechnology and peptide technology to counteract one of the most difficult to treat dermal concerns. The core active technologies include diglucosyl gallic acid (which is proven to be 60 more active than kojic acid in visibly brightening skin tone) and a redness reducing azelaic acid and glycine combination. Alongside these, white shiitake ferment – a purified bio-derivative that targets the appearance of dark spots within a week of use – and red evodia fruit derivatives, an ingredient used in Chinese medicine to encourage radiance and even tone.

Didn't do anything
Even though I love several NIOD products, this one doesn't work. I used three or four bottles and no change with my hyperpigmentation (hormonal type, got it when I was pregnant). I haven't noticed any change, ANY. And I am really taking care of my skin and use SPF every single day. So maybe this works on different kinds of hyperpigmentation.

Seeing some nice results
I apply this all over the face, and it helps keep my complexion nice and even toned. I do feel a very slight irritation when I apply it, but it subsides quickly. I'd say this is like a vitamin C serum in the sense that you need to use it daily to see results, but it's significantly more brightening that any vitamin C product I've ever used.

Well it definitely works
Just say I’ve been using this for 5 days (at night) and i am already seeing a difference. I kind of like that it feels a bit like an oil too (not a super stripping, harsh serum like others I’ve tried that claim to do similar things)

Decent product but pricey
I've been using this for a few weeks and I'm not sure if I see much of a difference to be honest. It has a oily texture, and I use it in conjunction with Tranexamic acid, arbutin and niacinamide to treat scars and pigmentation. I would say you need to use this for a couple of months to see a major difference, but I do like the texture and feel of the products, and also the fact that it has no irritating ingredients like fragrance. The downside is the price, so I only spot treat as it would be super pricey and finish really quickly if you were to apply to your whole face.
