Apply a small amount to damp, towel-dried hair working upwards from ends to roots. Use more as needed for longer, thicker hair. Air-dry for a soft texture or blow-dry for a smooth finish. Diffuse for waves or curls.

Olaplex 9
I am using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and bought this to use after washing my hair.  There was no way it acts as a detangler.  I couldn’t brush my hair without pulling out lots if it.  It left my hair feeling dry and frizzy.  I won’t be using it again.  A waste of money.

I’ve got mixed feelings about no.9 serum. My hair is chemically damaged from mid length to end (jaw length Bob) and after using this solidly for 3 weeks, I’ve found that there has been moderately less breakage and a subtle shine to the healthy regrowth. If too much serum is used then my hair becomes very sticky and hard to blow dry and not enough then it will frizz. Also when using straighteners they would drag rather glide along the section of hair. It took some time to find the right amount to use but the huge plus is the amount of volume it creates.  The promise of style memory is spot on. I would say this a Marmite product - you’ll either love it or hate it. Personally I will try it again once my hair is in a better condition.Â

High expectations
Thes products really dried out my balayage, my hair didn’t appear healthier. My hairdresser used some treatments to help restore the moisture in my hair but my ends were still really dry and had to come off. Gutted I spent this money on something that didn’t just not work but made my hair worse. I bet for some people this is a holy grail but it is not for anyone. I’ll stick to pureology, better for my hair and better price point.

I wanted to love it but…
Not like your usual serum , it feels a lot more water based which actually left my hair feeling frizzier . Instead of leaving my hair silky like traditional serums , it left my hair feeling dry and sticky . I’m going to try mixing it with argon oil as I’m interested in its bond building qualities , but as a fan of the entire range I was sad to be disappointed with this one . Will finish it , but won’t re-purchase .Â

Really lovely
This is a lovely light serum that glides into hair, I leave mine to part air dry then finish with the hairdryer and it leaves your hair lovely and soft and smooth with a lovely shine. I also use the other leave in cream they do (can’t remember the number, this it’s 8 which I love and is thicker than this one so if you have thicker hair like me I think that one’s better but if you find that one too heavy then this one is for you. I’ll use both as I love them bothÂ

THE BEST THING EVER
I love this product. It’s the best olaplex product yet. I just use this on damp hair and then a heat protected spray and that’s enough for me to have soft shiny hairÂ

Just brilliant
I am always sceptical about the latest new arrivals However this is well worth the investment I have fine hair and this product makes such a huge difference when drying and styling It protects from heat and the end result is a smooth hair As with most olaplex it also smells divineÂ

Glorious
This stuff is absolutely amazing. I used almost all olaplex products but this definitely is the best i ever use from olaplex. From the first use make your hair feels soft and look like you just came out of hairdresser. Definitely recommend. Just bit pricey.
