Distribute evenly between palms first. Apply to wet hair and lather fully. Leave on for 1-3 minutes. (For more intense toning, leave on up to 5 minutes.) Rinse well and condition.

The best purple shampoo!
I have tried many shampoos for blondes and this is by far my favourite! I use it over 2-3 washes, work it in the hair, comb with a wide comb and let it rest 2-3 min and my hair has perfect cool toned highlights. It is a bit pricey but as I don't use it every wash, it lasts very long time. I am on my second bottle right now and I don't see myself switching to something else!

This shampoo is good, as all Olaplex products, but pay attention, it is very very pigmented. To make it lighter I dilute a small qty with a regular shampoo. Leaves a nice cold grey tonality, not purple or blue. Result is perfect

I’ve been using Olaplex products for a while and I’m so happy they’ve come out with a purple shampoo. The way I use it is a little different. I combine this shampoo with a moisturising hair mask and I’ll leave it on for the day and then rinse it off when I wash my hair. It leaves my hair looking fresher and blonder. My hair isn’t stained blue afterwards. I do that once every two weeks. The rest of the time, I use it in conjunction with their regular shampoo. This blue shampoo doesn’t lather as well as the number4 and it does feel a little bit more drying. However, I still love it and will repurchase.

Best purple shampoo - but rinse well!
I have blonde hair with highlights and sometimes have a dry, itchy scalp*. Over the years I have tried many purple shampoos and this is one of my favourites. I will use it every 2-3 washes and I love the result, plus: it doesn’t irritate my skin. But be warned: wash your hands after applying/rinsing and make sure to rinse your hair (and scalp!) well as it may stain if you do not rinse well. I will definitely repurchase this product. Be careful of purple hair
I have white/silver grey hair. It’s an excellent shampoo but, leave it on too long, or use it too often and I have lilac purple hair!. The reason for 4* rating I love it but can’t use it too often as I don’t want purple hair, so I’ll have to buy the non-purple shampoo for the times I don’t use it.
