Boasting a number of uses, this paste gives short hair added texture, moulds styles and is also perfect for slicking back greasy locks in-between washes. How so? Well beeswax is infused to add volume while kaolin clay gives it its supreme holding prowess. Plus, it cares for your strands at the same time thanks to the brand's OUAI Smart Technology, a nourishing concoction of amino acids, tamarind seed, hibiscus and jasmine. Which style will you choose?

gods gift to greasy hair
Honestly, this pomade has been a godsend for slick buns/ ponytails, it gives the satiny finish of hairspray with the hold of pomade, without any of the crispiness I usually get with the latter. A little bit goes a LONG way, so I never feel like I get excess buildup in my hair either as it washes out very well with a good clarifying shampoo ++ a single pot lasts forever

Very Underwhelming
I bought this as I thought with it's alleged popularity amongst celebrities that it would be good quality and do the job it states it does. I was wrong. It doesn't hold in place, gives little gloss to hair, but strangely, a lot of grease. Makes hair look dirty and feel tacky. It's also very scented, which is fine if you like the scent, but sickly if you don't.My sister uses a run of the mill pomade for men and her hair looks way better for a fraction of the price.

This is the only Ouai product I am disappointed with. It does nothing to mould my hair or add texture. Waste of money imo.

Greasy mess
Makes your hair very greasy and is not matte at all. I have black thick straight hair. Hairspray is much better for sleek pony/ buns.

I am obsessed with the smell of this product - so so so good! On top of this, this product provides such a good hold but isn’t too cakey like some of the other products on the market. A little goes a long way!Â

Ouai Matte Pomade
Very disappointed with this product, I bought it on the basis that it was matte……annoyingly very much the opposite, even the smallest amount makes my hair greasy and limp. It looks like my hair hasn’t been washed, gives no choppy texture to my short straight hair, just makes it flat and lacklustre. Would not recommend this product.
