Boasting a number of uses, this paste gives short hair added texture, moulds styles and is also perfect for slicking back greasy locks in-between washes. How so? Well beeswax is infused to add volume while kaolin clay gives it its supreme holding prowess. Plus, it cares for your strands at the same time thanks to the brand's OUAI Smart Technology, a nourishing concoction of amino acids, tamarind seed, hibiscus and jasmine. Which style will you choose?

Matte???
Not matte at all, extremely greasy. Made my hair stick in greasy clumps and it looked as though I hadn't washed my hair in weeks. Had to wash it off immediately. Disgusting!

Holds your hair but doesn't make it crunchy
I've tried a few styling products to make slicked hairstyles: eco styler gel, leave in treatments like nº6 from Olaplex... and all of them always have some notorius cons. Styling gels often make my hair 'crunchy' and shiny in a not-so-good way: I find that when a gel leaves your hair shiny, it can sometimes emphasize those greasy hair days. This pomade is matte, which helps with that issue, and it also smells so good, floral-y and sweet but fresh. It holds my hairstyles pretty good throughout the day. Keep in mind, my hair is thick and long, but straight (idk how it'd work on wavy, curly, coily or kinky hair). The main con of this product is that I can only use it for this: the labels claim that is a multitasking product and you can use in a lot of ways, but I found that when I try to use it as a leave-in kinda way it weighs down the hairstyle.

It’s a gem!
I have baby hair which sticks up like horns and rarely pull my hair up because of this. I read about this product and its good reviews and decided to try it. I was not disappointed! My hairs stayed in place all day! No other product did this. I definitely recommend for sleek pulled up hair.

I have been using this when I want my hair to look a bit messy, or when I want some strands to stand out. It’s wonderful. It gives it a new life and shine, the hair is so soft, and smells divine. Sometimes I mix it with one or two drops of hair oil. My experience has been with dry hair.

This product works so well for styling shorter hair or taming flyaways/baby hairs. It adds a lovely texture to the hair and the matte finish means you can use other products as well and still get a fresh clean hair look.
