Apply once or twice daily after cleansing, toning and exfoliating. Dispense 2-3 drops and add to your favourite moisturiser or serum. May also be used alone. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater. May be applied around the under-eye area.

Effective, and does not pill
Significantly helped my acne, and can be worn under makeup (it does not pill!). It is very pleasant to use, and imo definitely worth the price.

I definitely do recommend this product. First time that I've used an azelaic acid so i don’t have another comparison but this one worked really well for my skin. I feel like it calmed my redness and my skin was more clear and smooth. I do miss this product so I will repurchase it. The only reason why I put 4 stars and not 5 is because i still think that it’s too expensive for such a small quantity.

I love Paula's Choice, like many others I can't live without her BHA lotion, and I've recently tried and loved her strongest retinol. But I'm on the fence with this one. I just don't see much improvement (on acne, lines or pigmentation). Skin looks fine after applying at night, but nothing crazy. I apply it once or twice a week, in rotation with AHA - BHA - Retinol - Moisturizer (different nights, obviously). No wow effect, which doesn't mean it's not working. To be honest, I tried Azelaic acid with a different brand (French, targeting teenagers) and saw immediate results, for half the price, so...
