Azelaic acid can be used with pretty much anything, like retinol, prescriptions. I feel like it really helped my skin, I definitely have less acne than I used to prior to using this booster (keep in mind I've been using this for about year and a half). It soaks right into my skin and leaves no residue, I use it after serum and before moisturizer. Theoretically it can be mixed with your moisturizer, but I don't bother. The only thing I don't like about this is it's very pricey...
