It probably saved my white hair this summer
I have white hair and I like summer and I like to swim, and we all know sun and chlorine are really bad for white hair because it turns yellow beyond what purple shampoo and masks can fix, so this mask seemed like tailor made for me. I applied the swim cap mask before my pool afternoons this summer and although I cannot tell if this and this only is what made the difference (because I also use uv sprays the rest of the day) I am happy to report my colour has survived the summer and my hair feels smooth and shiny. It could be a combination of things, as I said, but being able to jump into the pool and enjoy the water with my kids without worries, just that, makes this mask worth it. Only, I applied quite a bit of product and then I had to tie my hair in a ponytail because you could tell I was wearing something, so having it loose didn't quite work. After you've been in the water it is not a problem any more, the ponytail was just to get to the pool. The product survived water and would only come off with shampoo, so I really felt like it was protecting my hair. Note: I do not go under the sun until after 4-5 pm, ever. And I never stay more than 2 hours in the water/sun. So 2 hours in pool water and weak sun for 3 weeks is the extent of my experience. So: if you like to dive into outdoor pools, this is for you. If you don't like water and prefer to keep a "proper" hairstyle, hats and headscarfs and uv sprays are a better option, because this definitely looks like a hair mask when applied. I will buy it again next summer for sure.

I got this product from the Cult Beauty Sun Edit set last year and it saved my hair. I used it while sunbathing and swimming and my hair was nourished and healthy.
