Formulated with only pure pigments and oils (rather than waxes, so they won't melt with the warmth of your skin), these multidimensional shadows are the ultimate one-and-done colour. Easy to build and blend, they can be applied using the fingertips or paired with The Eye Soot Brush. Use alone as a one-and-done colour, mix your favourite shades or smudge along the lashline for instant drama. Plus, they're available in an array of breathtaking shades, from iridescent lavender to a flattering chocolate brown.

Natural but chic
My first Rituel de Fille Ash and Ember Eye Soot was in Half Light, a pretty soft taupe colour. After some time, I bought Sigil, a warm rosé champagne. Both give a delicate wet look to the eye with an extremely soft shimmer. They are amazing for a natural make up, elegant and sophisticated at the same time and perfect for mature eye lids. I like to use a brush for the application so I can build them up depending on the occasion. Nice ingredients.

Beautiful eyeshadow
I came across RDF by chance and I love every single product I've tried so far. I have extremely sensitive eyes and eyelids so eye makeup is something I use sparingly and more often than not I end up with irritations and redness. Not with any of their products. I use an eye primer before application and use my ring finger to apply the soot twice. I've bought the shade Anima, and it has a beautiful pink tone and subtle finish that I wear for work. I also like to pair it with an iridescent highlighter (underneath).

Great eyeshadow
Sigil is a beautiful satin nude shade, perfect for every day. The texture is very thin and there are no fallouts when applying it. However, I find that they apply better with fingers and the little pot isn't very convenient.

I purchased Half Light & couldn't be happier. It's the perfect everyday shade & unlike everything I own - it's not a cream, but also not a powder, not a glitter, but also not matte. It's almost giving a mysterious glow from within. Pairs well with other shadows, too. Only quibble is the price point. Yes, you get a decent amount of product, but it's still a lot for a single shadow.
