Very pretty but not what I expected

It is basically fine-ish silver glitter in a balm. Very beautiful but not what I expected! I feel like from advertisements of this product I got the impression that it would also add kind of a glow-from-within effect but it doesn't. I really like to use it for eye makeup rather than a cheek highlighter.

Very nice glitter topper

The word intensifier is apt for this product, it's a great cream/balm formula that you can tap on top of your existing highlighter or eyeshadow. Easy to use, and you don't really need too much to make it work

gorgeous, holographic lavender

The Alchemist Highlight Intensifier is a gorgeous, holographic lavender. It has a creamy texture and is best applied with your fingers. All you need to do is swirl a bit on the tips, and gently tap it over your highlight or anywhere else you need a dose of high-impact shine.

PERFECT

I love using it alone, on top of highlighters or as an eye gloss! So dewy, so perfect and shiny! Love this product! Would love to see on CULT BEAUTY the other cream highlighters RITUEL DE FILLE have! That would be amazing! Could not be more HAPPY with my purchase!

Interesting

At first I was a bit disappointed, but after using it I really liked it. It really is different. I apply only a bit over my highlighter and even though it's a bit sticky it doesn't move and the hair doesn't get into it. I was disappointed at first because I thought it was a powder formula (my fault), but I am happy it's like this because I own so many highlighters and I needed something different! Also cute that they give you samples of all their rare light luminizers with this purchase.

Let Down

After seeing so many amazing photos about this on Instagram, and because it's a cruelty-free indie brand, I decided to give this a shot as I love highlighters so much. Unfortunately, I was a bit let down by this product. From the photos, it looked like it would have a luminous, ethereal cream base, with a strong shimmer/glitter running throughout to make it suitable as a highlighter topper. But, there isn't really a pigmented base at all - it's basically oil with lots of glitter running through it. It still works as a highlighter topper (if you want an actual cream highlighter I would suggest their other cream highlighter formula - this is meant to be a topper), but ultimately I was disappointed with how there was really no multidimensional glow as I'd been led to believe. They did send a little sample pot of every shade of their cream highlighter though, and that was really nice! I will definitely be buying a full sized one of them in the future, instead of repurchasing this.

Sticky and glittery

I don't know if I just haven't found how this should be used, but I was kinda disappointed. Saw lots of excellent stuff about it on social media. Anticipated great things. In reality it's quite sticky and doesn't 'dry' so remains tacky (not so good for eyelids). And it's pretty much just glitter. There are better, less tacky formulas from cheaper cruelty free brands that can provide the same glittery look IMHO. I really wanted this to rock my world. I hope that the more I play around with it, the more I can find it a home in my beauty routine. But for now, I've just bought something else to fill the role as I needed a highlighter.
