Great sunscreen but stings my eyes!

This is a very lightweight, super absorbant and pleasant sunscreen. However, it stings my eyes so much that it causes irritation for days! I had to use it on a trip as I couldn't get any other sunscreen at the time and it would cause me to tear up every single day! I have the same thing with Thank you Farmer's other water sunscreen whereas all of the reviews claimed that it normally doesn't burn your eyes. Oh well, perhaps it's just me! I would recommend trying it nonetheless because if it doesn't irritate your eyes, then it's an excellent sunscreen!

Good SPF

Lovely SPF. Easy to blend, not sticky, with no white cast.

Best ever spf

I have tried many, many spf products and there is none like this! It goes on so smooth, dries quickly and leaves a lovely healthy glow / dewy effect. Perfect in its own or under make up . Love love love this spf and it is effective of course even days by the sea at height of summer . I use it all year round and it suits my mature skin perfectly which has oily t zone and dry to normal . No dry patches and no breakouts . I will Never move beyond it. Slightly fragranced .

Watery and lovely scent

It has a watery texture but is hydrating and with a lovely scent. Does not leave a white cast and can be reapplied throughout the day. My skin is a mix and can be allergic to other SPF's far more expensive than this one. The name chosen for this product is perfect "Sun light essence" - I cannot believe I have not used it before

Invisible

My natural skin tone is naturally hued somewhere between white and duck-egg blue, if I were a Farrow & Ball paint I'd be 'Glacial Flurry' or 'Polar Bear's Fart'. I regularly correct this with fake tan that transports me towards 'cream'. I need SPF more than most, but hate wearing it any other time than on holiday when I happily walk around smelling of coconuts. Like disguising vegetables in pasta pesto for kids, this primer encourages me to use SPF without realising it under my makeup. It disappears into an undetectable veil almost on contact; to the point where if I don't pay attention I accidentally apply it twice because I have a memory like a goldfish that toured with the Rolling Stones through the 60s. Brilliant SPF for those who dislike their beauty 'greens'.

Very heavily fragranced

I bought this because I was looking for a very light, fast-absorbing SPF for my oily skin. I've found that even if this sinks in quickly (it's very thin and doesn't leave any white cast), it makes me more oily during the day, no matter which products I use underneath and on top of it. It also caused breakouts, probably because of the amount of fragrance! I didn't look when I bought it, but it's right there in the middle of the ingredient list. It's way too much! I don't put perfume on my face, so I don't see why I would smear it all over if it's in a cream? I've decided to keep it in my bag for when I need to reapply sunscreen on my body in the summer. I wouldn't recommend it.

Doesn't work with my increasingly oily skin

When I bought this product my skin was more of a combination skin. I had a somewhat oily T-zone and the description of this sunscreen seemed to fit my needs. In the beginning I was quite impressed, and as another reviewer has written, I thought I had found my HG sunscreen! Light-weight texture that dryed down to a semi-matte finish and on top of that it did not feel like it added to the greasyness of my skin as the day went by. If my skin had stayed the same I would probably have given this product 4 stars - just because it was not completely weight-less/non-existent on the skin (which I would definitely prefer). I am now at the very last drops of sunscreen and as time has passed my skin has gotten even more oily and at the moment I would define my skin as completely oily. It no longer seems like the product dries down, it just seems to add to the shine and I really feel the extra layer on my. As a sidenote, I would like point out that the narrow screw cap makes it nearly impossible to have the tube standing upside down, it pretty much just have to lie, which makes it a pain to get the last bit of product out. In conclusion: I'm still on the hunt for my perfect sunscreen. Would not repurchase, not even if my skin decided to back to its previous state.

Perfect. Just perfect.

This sunscreen moisturizes the skin, yet has a very light texture, semi-matte finish and it doesn't break me out AT ALL. (Just in case, my skin is oily, acne prone and usually feels dehydrated. There's a win in each and every aspect.) Also, it smells really good!=. Such a delicate fresh scent. Which doesn't irritate me like other sunscreens do, haha. This product is exactly what I've been looking for and I'm going to stick to it <3

It's a no from me

When I first put it on, I thought I've finally found my HG sunscreen: weight-less texture, no white cast, no strong scent, a semi-matte finish. Then after about 10minutes, problems appeared. Firstly, it stings my eyes something bad l. And we all know you have to apply sunscreen around your eyes to protect the delicate, crease-prone skin. I had to wet a tissue and wipe off any product from around my eyes. Secondly, it rolls/piles under certain foundation. Seems to sit well under Chanteicaille future skin, which is a water-based foundation. But goes patchy under By Terry Densillis, which is I imagine, emollient-based. Won't repurchase. Alas, the search for a good sunscreen continues.

Holy Grail Sunscreen

It's amazing. Leaves no white cast on my medium tan skin, hydrating enough for oily skin but non greasy, light in texture. This is a really good sunscreen, it basically disappears into my skin and feels like nothing.
