My face is oily but sometimes dry patch visible on some spot, put this for two skincare cycle and the patch is gone

I'm in my 30s and I'm hesitant to use retinol, so I've been using this Bakuchiol serum as an alternative for years now and can't imagine my face routine without it. It's lighweight, so hydrating and refreshing, doesn't irritate my skin. I just wish it came in larger size.

Good only for beginners
This retinol is great for beginners. But if you’re not a beginner it probably won’t do anything for you. I don’t see any changes anymore on my skin and it’s my second buy.

Smells bad!
Smells gross!! Haven't used it apart from the first time so can't say if it works or not, but the smell is rank and who wants to put that on their face!!? Stay clear!

Amazing stuff
Yes it smells a bit weird and is a tad runny. However, since using this I have noticed such a positive change in my skin. I combine it with other Inky List serums, including Hydraulic Acid, Collagen Booster and Vitamin C EGF. My fine lines are minimised, my skin glows more but also more importantly I have fewer blemishes and less poor clogging. I use a website where you can check for any poor clogging ingredients and these products don’t contain any. Since doing this check on any products I use and only sticking to the non poor clogging I have seen a dramatic improvement. In fact, I get compliments on the clarity of my skin and can now get away without using foundation.Â

Allergic reaction
First product I’ve ever used that has made my face super itchy every time I use it! Won’t be using again! Have never had an allergic reaction from something before. Makes my skin really dry and flaky too. Would not recommend, would go back to traditional retinol formsÂ

Smell is really bad but just a standard moisteriser. Haven't noticed anything amazing. Does what it needs to and that's it.

Not sure whether this worked on not but I got annoyed every time I used it because it’s so runny and the packaging is just not right for this. I also could not stand the smell!Won’t be buying again.Â

Gentle alternative
I've been using this product for 2 weeks now therefore, no real visible signs of any changes. At least no negative reactions. Personally, I use it as a moisturizer.... I realize that the science behind bakuchol being an alternative to retinols is not entirely sufficient nor convincing at this time but taking a break from any form of strong retinols I decided to give this ingredient a try. Again, to soon to have an honest opinion. In the meantime, I like it as a moisturizer/ antioxidant product.... so far so good 👍
