Its straight-talking range includes all the industry's best-loved heroes (from retinol to hyaluronic acid) in no-frills formulations that deliver incredible results. If smoother-looking skin is on your wishlist then so should the Bakuchiol Moisturiser (30ml), a gentle yet potent alternative to retinol for beginners and long-standing fans.
Keen to try retinol but want to ease yourself into it? Add the Bakuchiol Moisturiser (30ml) to your routine and take an ultra-gentle approach to addressing fine lines and wrinkles.
Powered by a glow-enhancing blend of nourishing squalane, barrier-protecting sacha inchi oil, omegas 3, 6 and 9 and of course, the hero ingredient, bakuchiol, this hydrating formula ensures skin stays supple and plump. What's so great about bakuchiol, you ask? For starters, it's a plant-based alternative to retinol, which makes it extra kind to even the most sensitive of skin types. Most of all, it works to refine texture and boost elasticity over time, therefore making this multitasking moisturiser the ultimate staple you can rely on.

Absorbs into skin fast, very lightly hydrating
I'm researching retinol-based/bakuchiol products that are affordable so I decided to buy this. I've never heard of The Inkey List before so this was new to me. I only apply this twice a week- Mondays & Fridays. I wasn't too put off by the smell as I've tried a couple of "all-natural" products before. This sinks into my skin easily and absorbs just nicely. I wouldn't say this is mega hydrating. I imagine this is more suited towards those with dry/or sensitive skin, and my skin is quite oily. Still, this is a pleasant moisturiser. I just wish this was 50/100ml tube instead of a measly 30ml. I would probably repurchase this.

Demoted to body cream
I have blemish-prone skin and it doesn't agree with this - I noticed a little break out after using and no real benefits. I've started using it on my décolletage so as not to waste it but I wouldn't recommend it.

I love this moisturiser! I’m in my early twenties so I’d consider myself too young to start using retinol, but I wanted something to help treat my breakouts, acne scarring and congested skin texture. I have a compulsive skin-picking habit which further exacerbates the problem. I use this Bakuchiol moisturiser every evening (except two nights a week using Inkey’s Lactic Acid Serum and Hemp Moisturiser instead) and overnight it brightens, smooths, soothes and helps my skin to heal. The addition of Sacha Inchi Oil is brilliant because it rounds this moisturiser out to really help strengthen the skin barrier, but maintains a lightweight lotion-y texture. I can see this moisturiser being a great routine addition for any skin type.
