Skin care doesn't have to be confusing. The INKEY List is on a mission to debunk beauty jargon and put the power of knowledge in your hands. Its straight-talking range includes all the industry's best-loved heroes (from retinol to hyaluronic acid) in no-frills formulations that deliver incredible results. A case in point? The Retinol Serum (30ml), a nighttime treatment that works to reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven texture.
Looking for a skin care reset while you sleep? Cue The INKEY List's Retinol Serum (10ml).
A derivative of vitamin A, retinol refreshes your complexion. Calling on two different forms of this hard-working ingredient, this concoction unites 1% retinyl acetate to gently resurface skin while a 0.5% granactive retinoid leaves your skin feeling plumper. Plus, its slow-release formula minimises sensitivity while still minimising fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and blemishes. That's not all; it's also infused with squalane to intensely hydrate your visage and protect your delicate moisture barrier. The results? A complexion that looks brighter, smoother and firmer.
Water (Aqua/Eau), Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propanediol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Retinyl Acetate, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Phospholipids, Squalane, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Carbomer, Polysorbate 60, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glycolipids, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Phytate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Lactate, Tocopherol, Polysorbate 20, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1.

Only use Retinol Serum in your PM skin care routine. After cleansing and hydrating, apply a pea-sized amount of Retinol Serum and massage into to the face and neck. Follow with preferred moisturiser. Start off using it 1-2 times per week and increase gradually if your skin can tolerate more frequent use.

Good
Good product. I haven't noticed any change in my skin, but it feels slightly fresher.

Great low-end retinol
Despite its price, this retinol works wonders and it is a good option for retinol beginners.

Quite good
Inkey List's low-cost retinol serum is an excellent choice for those looking to introduce retinols into their skin care routine without breaking the bank. I'm already an advanced retinol user and only use this cheap alternative on the backs of my hands and it works pretty well.

Great
I think this is a great retinol for that price. I am a retinol veteran and since I do not have means to get my hands on prescription strength (or tretinoin), I use whatever is available to buy. I think by now I have tried max. 3% retinol and I must say I don't think stronger is better in the long run and medical experts actually agree with me (I have read studies published in online official medical journals)! I think it depends on the formula and excipients in it. That said, I really enjoy this retinol and would buy it over and over again. I recommended it to a friend and she enjoyed it as well. I think 1% which is in this formula is enough to see results you want from a retinol product without any side effects.

So-so
A very good starter retinol. It never irritated me and has improved my skin but it's on the weaker side of retinols
