I’ve bought this a couple of times, mostly because it’s a less-expensive option and I like The Ordinary. Pros: price, my skin feels moisturised in the morning thanks to the squaline. Cons: less it more because it’s so oily, so it’ll ruin your pillowcases. Also, I’m not totally sure it works but that’s just my opinion on topical nonprescription retinoids in general.

Try this before the expensive ones
I always love The Ordinary products. I've been using them for years, and they're always my go-to before I search anywhere else to see if an active ingredient is going to really work for me. The squalane is a nice addition, but it's a bit tacky so I have to avoid burying my face in my pillow before it's had time to really absorb.
