Not wearing sunscreen is a cardinal sin for any skin care devotee – but if you’re put off by memories of thick, pore-clogging formulas, it can be easy to avoid it. Enter, The Ordinary. Stripping back unnecessary packaging and misleading ingredients, every product in the range is game-changing and this SPF is no exception. Combining ultra-refined zinc oxide and titanium dioxide (no nanoparticles) with a bio-active antioxidant network, a hydration complex, skin-identical non-comedogenic lipids and Tasmanian pepperberry, this formula offers innovative SPF protection and free radical-fighting, nourishing support.
An innovative take on sunscreen that does so much more than guard your complexion against the harmful, ageing effects of the sun (though it does that very well indeed) The Ordinary’s Mineral UV Filters SPF 30 with Antioxidants offers unrivalled protection. Avoiding the use of nanoparticles (these are small enough to penetrate your skin and get inside your body), The Ordinary has formulated this sunscreen with ultra-refined zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, suspended within non-comedogenic (non-pore-blocking) silicones. This allows the formula to remain extremely lightweight and prevent it from over-burdening your skin. An advanced antioxidant complex scavenges and neutralises free radicals, minimizes the intensity of UV radiation penetrating the skin, while a bio-sugar complex provides both short and long-term hydration and also naturally increases skin’s own capacity to hold water. Finally, Tasmanian pepperberry helps to calm stressed skin for a soothed finish.

Nourishing
Most importantly this does not sting my eyes.It is also lovely and nourishing. Has a slight white cast but that tends to fade once settled in. Layers beautifully under makeup too.

Not for dark skin AT ALL!
I’m a huge fan of the ordinary brand so was very excited to try the sunscreen. I have dark skin and the tiniest amount turns my skin purple. The fact that I can’t even use a small amount with lout it changing my natural skin tone renders it useless and I now will have to bin it and find an alternative that is dark skin friendly.Â

Best Value range mineral suncream
This is my third tub and nothing has won me over more than The Ordinary’s mineral sunscreen. Pros: My face sweats a lot and i realised this sunscreen does a better job of staying on more than others. Best price(you wont get mineral sunscreen at this price point from anywhere), matte (when you apply, it might feel a little too thick but the good thing is it stays in your skin longer), Flat tube (easy to carry in purse) instead of round tubes and greater coverage. I will buy this till the end of time possibly..Cons: Available up to SPF30 only so far, leaves a tiny bit of white cast when fresh but definitely blends in after a few minutes (max 15 mins).Skin type: Asian olivy mix skin type.Â

Good product, a little goes a loooong way
I have been using this product for a few months and overall i am very pleased. The formula is thick but using a small amount solves the issue for me. I must point out that i a have a highly fair skin so this might be why i am happy with it and not disappointed like other reviews I've seen here. Comparing to other SPFs i own, this one does not kill the makeup i am putting on top of it. I guess, considering other comments here the bottom line is that this SPF works best mainly on highly fair skins while using the right amount (which is just a bit)

Nice product - surprisingly good for dry skin
You don’t need much, it’s a bit like the Matt Clay Sunscreen. Doesn't look greasy. It’s given my skin good protection, I suffer from pigmentation and have noted no spots have gotten any bigger.

My best sunscreen so far
Yes, it does have a slight white cast - but I have fair skin it doesn't matter to me. What matters is that it's zinc oxide and it has good texture: no greasiness, no dryness at all, and my skin is happy with it. I've seen some negative reviews here and didn't really know what to expect but decided to try it anyway - and I'm glad I did! Not disappointed and surely going to buy again.

It's good
It's good. I spend about 2 hours outside in the sun every day and there is no tan. Yes, it leaves a white cast but it is a mineral sunscreen so this is expected. It washed off normally. Applied on the skin well, does not cause discomfort. For the price - it's 10 stars!

LIKE IT VERY MUCH
Yes, this can have a white cast because of MINERAL FILTERS! My skin is very light (ivory) so I use this sunscreen alone and do not need foundation! I very like it and waiting it when it will be in stock again!
