Not quite for me

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I tried this moisturiser as part of The Ordinary Daily Set, and have mixed feelings about it. I have sensitive dry skin, and although this moisturiser didn't cause any irritation, I found it wasn't quite rich enough for my skins needs. It has a lovely texture to it, it feels rich as you apply but absorbs really quickly which is nice if you don't want a heavy feeling on the skin. A little does go a long way, however I found it left my skin feeling a bit tight after use, meaning I had to apply another layer to compensate. I'm used to richer formulas which sit on the skin for longer so this may be why I experienced the "tight" feeling. For the price it's a good basic moisturiser, and I would recommend it if you want something light and don't experience very dry skin. I would potentially purchase again to use as a morning moisturiser however don't feel its rich enough for me to use daily or when my skin is really dry hence the 4 star review.

Good moisturizer for Dry skin

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Good moisturizer for Dry skin especially with the winter. Feels a little bit greasy though and heavy. But does a good job of keeping the skin hydrated.

Cream with a light texture. Good for the morning if you want a cream that is absorbed quickly.

Its nice

This moisturiser is really okay. Its lightweight but sticky on the face. It dries really quickly on the face and leaves my skin not dry but also not moisturised. But i used all of it because it does its job

Not amazing

If you're looking for just another moisturising cream, you can go for this. The texture is nice and price-wise also ok. Now, on the results side, after using it for a month now, I don't see any amazing results, and the hydration of the skin goes after 2 hours tops.

Officially my daily ritual

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'm always trying new creams, i used to use Khiels Gel Moisturiser & Clinique Moisture Surge both oil free and worked very well i have normal skin and can sometimes break out with products. I wouldn't have really thought to switch it up. I saw this and the price tag made me want to try it as can be pricey when all your products run out and need re buying! I love it, absorbs so quick, doesn't leave any sticky feeling, makes your skin feel really hydrated and perfect for just before make up application. All The Ordinary products are fab!!

Best oil control moisturizer

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a godsend, not only does it not have irritating smells/fragrance or burn or irritate the skin, you can also use it as a primer before makeup. With the "niacinamide + zinc" and "buffet" serums I no longer have an oily T zone... At All. The best for oily skin.

Wanted to love this...

I'd read some great reviews and the price was fantastic. Sadly was not for me. When I applied this it didn't feel like it absorbed into my skin at all and just sort of sat there. Didn't feel like it hydrated my skin and actually after a weeks use it made it feel quite sore in places as well as greasy feeling and looking. It was recommended as part of a regime for an oily T zone and minor acne flare-ups I've had recently around hairline and I'm convinced it just made the issue 100 x worse. I got a really nasty blind pimple under my nose and cluster of spots in a new area on my chin shortly after introducing it. I was looking for a cheap alternative and it didn't pay off for me this time!
