Embodying the brand's signature SKINSCREEN concept, the silky, lightweight SPFs are packed with skin-loving ingredients while seamlessly slotting into your existing routine. Designed with sensitive, oily and reactive skin in mind, the Lean Screen Mineral Mattifying Fragrance Free Skinscreen SPF 50+ (50ml) is a zinc-only mineral formula that doesn't look or feel heavy on the skin.
Crafted in response to a wave of pleas from its community, Ultra Violette's Lean Screen Mineral Mattifying Fragrance Free Skinscreen SPF 50+ (50ml) is a mineral SPF ideal for oily or sensitive skin.
Designed to soothe and hydrate without feeling sticky, greasy or heavy, this fragrance-free formula grants a subtle, matte finish and a smooth, even skin texture. Its protective prowess stems from zinc oxide, which protects your skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays while working to soothe the look of redness. Plant-derived pentavin lends the blend a refreshing hit of hydration, and antioxidant-rich kakadu plum helps to guard your complexion against free radicals... All in all, this SPF is one that your face (and ears, and neck) should never be without!
Aqua/Water/Eau, Zinc Oxide, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Octyldodecanol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Disodium EDTA, Saccharide Isomerate, Sodium Chloride, Xanthan Gum, Gluconolactone, Cetearyl Glucoside, Isostearic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (Iron Oxides).

Apply as the final step in your skin care routine, right after, or instead of your moisturiser and before your make up. We recommend at least five pumps to cover your face and ears.

flawed packaging, looks cakey and pills
the packaging is made in such a way that it is constantly filling with air. this is really unhygienic and makes it impossible to get product out of the pump. it also just doesn't look great on. its very cakey, oily and pills under makeup. the only way I could apply this without it pilling was with a beauty blender. one swipe and its pilled. its difficult to reapply as well as it automatically pills. recommend the eltaMD tinted over this.

Great SPF but not particularly mattifying
This spf is a lovely texture, easy to work in. It doesn’t leave a white cast and doesn’t congest my skin (I’m combination type and lots of other spfs do). I tested it in Barbados in very intense sun and it did a great job of protecting. Only thing is I wouldn’t say the finish is particularly matte, definitely more so than the other products in their range that I’ve tried though. Would buy again.

wow
oily-dehydrated-reactive skin here. was a bit apprehensive when i first saw the texture. thought it was too heavy, but it sinks in perfectly, it even mattifies a bit, without drying out the skin. beautiful finish. so far zero breakouts and i think it will do wonders during the summer. so far loving it, considering i dont get along with most sunscreens.

Good spf but difficult application
Love that it is 100% mineral tinted spf50. However that is where it stops. Difficult to spread once applied, very thick, heavy feeling on the skin. And eventhough it was described as matte I still feel quite shiny after application. And I dont even have oily skin. Combo skin more on the dry side. Wears well under make up but the difficult application puts me off making a repeat purchase unfortunately.

Best looking spf
It looks really nice on the skin and doesn’t burn or sting around the eyes. Only wish it would be a little bit more hydrating especially for the Winter time but in the summer I’ll probably love it even more.

Not for me
Love Ultra Violette sunscreens but I’m so disappointed with this mattifying spf. The texture is extremely thick (like cement) which makes it hard to spread across my face. I have acne prone -combination skin but this felt quite drying. The tint was dark on my pale skin.

Really good
For me it’s the best I tried until now: not completely matt (such as Dr Dennis Gross for example), but neither so glowy to make makeup to slip over (I tried others I like a lot by their own, but they failed to work well under make up). Just lovely and effective (also I used it on the beach as a suncare for face and any sign of burnt - I am fair skin tone very likely to burn). So far, so good.

My holy grail
I have rosacea and I have looked for perfect sunscreen for me for a long time. This is the best product for my skin type and I will continue religiously to buy it.

Favorite sunscreen!
At first I was not amused by it but after letting it sink in I was in love with this sunscreen. It feels so nice but I wouldn’t really consider it as mattifying it gives a nice glow and doesn’t dry my skin (combo/oily) out. My pimples heal a lot faster due to the good amount of zinc oxide which is anti inflammatory. So I would say its great for acne prone & sensitive skin! I love it even more than my previous chemical sunscreen. Highly recommend.

Holy grail
This is one of the best SPF I've ever tried for oily/combination skin. It's mattifying, but not too much. If your skin is very oily you might want to use a bit of powder to make sure it doesn't get greasy throughout the day. I love the little sheen it gives to my cheeks but I use powder on the T zone. It doesn't leave a white cast (but I'm very fair-skinned, with darker complexions I'm not sure it would be invisible). Would recommend it and I'm sure I'll buy it again.
