Designed with sensitive, oily and reactive skin in mind, the Lean Screen Mineral Mattifying Fragrance Free Skinscreen SPF 50+ (50ml) is a zinc-only mineral formula that doesn't look or feel heavy on the skin.
Crafted in response to a wave of pleas from its community, Ultra Violette's Lean Screen Mineral Mattifying Fragrance Free Skinscreen SPF 50+ (50ml) is a mineral SPF ideal for oily or sensitive skin.
Designed to soothe and hydrate without feeling sticky, greasy or heavy, this fragrance-free formula grants a subtle, matte finish and a smooth, even skin texture. Its protective prowess stems from zinc oxide, which protects your skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays while working to soothe the look of redness. Plant-derived pentavin lends the blend a refreshing hit of hydration, and antioxidant-rich kakadu plum helps to guard your complexion against free radicals... All in all, this SPF is one that your face (and ears, and neck) should never be without!

Excellent... for a mineral sunscreen
Possibly the only mineral sunscreen that offers a flattering finish (not matte by any means, but a natural-to-satin one), without a hideous white cast and an exorbitant price tag. The main benefit is the manufacturing location - the brand is based in Australia, where SPF regulations are very stringent. So you are getting reliable protection. At the end of the day, this is a mineral SPF, however. This means a thick consistency and painful reapplication. On the plus side, there is no detectable fragrance and my hyper-sensitive skin did not mind the product at all.

Too drying
Unfortunately this sunscreen was useless for me. In 1 week it blocked my pores and dried the skin out. Otherwise it looked good on skin and under make up.

Not my fave
Really wanted to try their mineral sunscreen, but found it wasn't particularly mattifying (the opposite even) and the consistency was too thick for me. Pro's were it didn't leave any cast on my skin and definitely protected well from the sun. Changed to their supreme screen now which I adore!

Good one
It´s not easy to find mineral SPF with higher factor and I am allergic to several cosmetic ingredients (and hate silicones), so I was happy to find this one. It doesn’t contain anything my skin doesn’t tolerate and offers a good protection. I agree that the tube should be better, that pump is a joke. The cream itself spreads easilly, leaves no cast (but I am pretty pale) and my skin si mattified, wothout shine or even a glow (actually, I would prefer a sheer glow). It doesn’t offer much hydration, so I think this would work for combination types or maybe slightly dry. My skin is really dry, but I hydrate it with serum and moisturizer, so I am okay with this. I still prefer Naked Sundays mineral sunscreen over this, but this one is for a better price.

Fantastic SPF - Horrible Packaging
This is my most loved spf over the last few years and I repurchased it several times. It's slightly tinded and a great base for makeup. The packaging though is the worst I've seen. The product has a thick consistency which the pump of this airless tube isn't suitable for at all. It's leaking at the front and once even the tube exploded at the sealed end. Hope this will change someday.

Good but not perfect
It is a good one and does not peel but you need to use a lot in order to cover the full face.

Just really disliked this product
I just really disliked this product, though I can see how it'd be useful for very oily skin. I'll be sticking with the hydrating version.

Great matte sunscreen
Great for oilier skin, doesn't cause breakouts, spreads nicely despite being mineral.

Not mattifying.
This sunscreen has only one good thing --- it's mineral . But it's not mattifying at all! Never, not in cold, not in hot weather. The texture is thick, nothing absorbs, just stays on the surface of my face. My skin looks like greasy mess. If I apply less cream I'll not get the SPF 50 but about 15. The price is high,so I expected better quality of product.

Not for me
I really, really wanted to love it. Kept going back to it hoping it will work. While it’s meant to be mattifying, I cannot confirm that it is. I did not see any difference to any previous non-mattifying spf I used. My olive skin also looked pale and ashen after. What I did experience every single time I used it was pilling. I tried it with different serums/creams underneath, and different foundations on top. It just pills and is impossible to wear on my skin. I tried applying all products with fingers, sponge and brush to see if anything makes a difference. Nope :( I wish I could return it for a refund. Will not repurchase sadly. Added one star for the idea itself and ingredients. I really wish it agreed with my skin.
