Upon first use, swirl your fingertip in a circular motion on each eyeshadow shade. Don't be afraid to use firm pressure. This will activate our Lid Illumes for optimal colour payoff.

Little pigmented eyeshadow
Unfortunately I have to reject this eyeshadow because taken both with the finger and with the brush it does not write on the eyelid! Pity because it was a very beautiful color

Such a disappointing product
I have two Roen palettes and I am a huge fan of their formula. I get many compliments for the looks I get from them and I love it that the application is effortless. I can use my fingers because they actually work best as they warm up the formula and, depending on your pressure, you can get a wash of colour or a highly pigmented and sparkly eyeshadow look. This however is so dry that I have to push my finger really hard into it to get barely a whisper of colour and lots of sparkles. I don't like the texture and it is not the same as in their eyeshadow palettes. The effect is nice, it is sparkly and the eyelid looks wet, but the texture is so underwhelming, especially if you are already accustomed at the superior texture of their palettes and the easiness of using it. This is just too much hassle.

Beautiful but tricky...
I was very excited to get my hands on this one and got quite disappointed. It's beautiful (it really is), but very dry... maybe there's a learning curve at using it and I'm still figuring it out. Yet, for the price, I was definitely expecting more.

If I could give this expensive shadow no stars I would. The consistency is pretty solid and even allowing it to warm on your fingertips doesn't allow for smooth application. There is no depth of colour. Sorry I wasted my money on it.
